Red sky at night, desert delight

Taken in and around the town of Mitzpe Ramon in the Negev Desert of Israel, it is perched several hundred meters above a natural crater - Maktesh Ramon. I spent two days there and these are from a few trips to the crater both from the top and down into the base of it. The images have the red and blue channels swapped and were either taken during the middle of the day, when the hazy colour gives a warm yellow haze in the distance and others were taken very close to sunset but before nightfall where the lightest areas hold the blue tones and the darker areas the reds.
